In Oita prefecture, there is Usa Jingu shrine⛩️ which has been built for almost 1200 years, located on the Kunisaki Peninsula

It is the main shrine⛩️ of Japanese shrines dedicated to the god Hachiman, the god of archery and war

This shrine is the prototype of Hachiman-zukuri architecture. The main hall is designated as a national treasure. It is spacious and the view is beautiful.
