Usa Jing, also known as Usa Hachimangu, built in the early 8th century, is located in Oita. It is one of the most prestigious shrines in Kyushu, approximately 1,300 years of history. The sheer beauty of the shrine compound inspires awe. At present,it is the head of more than 40,000 Hachiman shrines in Japan.
