Ushiku Chateau: Japan's first full-scale winery

The Ushiku Winery remains intact to this day.
The office, fermentation room, and storage building are designated as Important Cultural Properties by the national government for their valuable historical value.

As the building was once a wine fermentation room, you can experience the passion that ran through the Meiji and Taisho periods.
