The Varied Architecture of Valletta

Valletta, the capital of Malta, is the kind of place where every corner feels like a movie set. With golden limestone buildings, narrow streets, and bright blue waters in every direction, just walking around is half the joy.
I spent most of the day wandering with no real plan—just soaking in the charm. Every street seemed to open up to another postcard-perfect view, a cozy café, or a quiet little plaza where time seemed to slow down.
One of my favorite moments was taking the ferry across the water to see Valletta from a distance. From that angle, the city rises like a fortress of sunlit stone—it’s breathtaking.
Why I recommend Valletta:
・It’s compact and walkable, making it perfect for slow, aimless exploration
・Between land and sea, every view is photogenic and full of character
