If you're looking for a place to visit near Vang Vieng that doesn't require much travel, I recommend this spot: the Blue Bridge, a landmark of Vang Vieng. Once you cross the Blue Bridge, you can explore the Angel Cave, which is divided into wet and dry zones. For the wet zone, you need to wear a life ring and float along the water. The dry zone allows you to walk and explore inside the cave. Note that there are separate fees for these two zones.
