Directions To get to Tham Jang, you have to cross a river, the Song River. To cross, you have to park your car on the other side and pay a parking fee. Then, walk across the wooden bridge. Originally, this wooden bridge was a blue iron bridge, but since it was damaged, it had to be rebuilt.

Atmosphere/Location - After crossing the wooden bridge, you will see a local vendor selling local snacks and drinks. Then, walk straight along the path. Don't worry about getting lost because there will be a line of tourists following you. Then, when you reach the entrance, you have to pay a ticket. After paying the ticket, you can go in. The front of the cave is a staircase that is not very high. After you reach it, when you turn around before entering the cave, you will see a high angle where you can clearly see the Song River cutting through the center of Vang Vieng. It is another beautiful high angle view. Then, when you enter the cave, there will be signs along the way and lighting for tourists. There are 2 paths in the cave: left and right. It is recommended to go to the right first. When inspecting the cave, there will be signs telling the history in both Lao and English. The air in the cave is quite cool and humid. As you walk along, there will be points with stalactites and stalagmites that have formed naturally and are beautiful. Some points will have spotlights that show the patterns of stalactites inside the cave. After walking around, walk back and there will be another way out of the cave. In addition to the area inside the cave, outside there is also a stream with green and blue water that is clear and you can see the fish below. It is another angle that is very photogenic. The water is very cold.
