Zhengzhou Sculpture Park is located on both sides of the Jialu River in northwest Zhengzhou, adjacent to the West Third Ring Road to the east, Xiliuhu Park to the south, and connected to the Zhengzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone to the west and north. The park covers an area of 35 hectares. Construction began on February 3, 2011, and it opened on December 30, 2014. The park features numerous sculptures. Together with Xiliuhu Park and the renovated Jialu River, it has become a recreational green belt and ecological corridor in western Zhengzhou.
The first phase of the Zhengzhou Sculpture Park project, the Zhengzhou Sculpture Art Museum, is nearing completion. Designed in the shape of a chime (a Chinese chime), the building itself is a large-scale sculpture. Located in the southwest of the park, the museum covers an area of 68 mu (approximately 1,000 square meters). The second phase of the project features a landscape structure encompassing "one lake, two rings, four zones, and ten scenic areas." The diverse landscape design seamlessly integrates the lakeside landscape with the urban green belt, while also creating a beautiful sloping landscape.
