The Vatican that you can't miss🤍

How can you go to Rome and not visit the smallest country in the world - Vatican City 🇻🇦? So, this time we specially arranged a whole day to visit here🤍

You don't need an admission ticket to visit the Vatican. But if you want to visit one of the most famous museums of art and culture in the world, the Vatican Museums, you will need to buy an admission ticket. Its admission tickets are as difficult to buy as those of the Colosseum in Rome. If you don’t buy your tickets online first, you can only buy more expensive tickets on a third-party platform or queue for several hours on site.

We bought tickets online early in the morning and were able to visit on time. This museum houses more than 70,000 works of art, covering ancient artifacts, Renaissance art, and modern works, including paintings, sculptures, and tapestries. You can imagine how big this place is! Since none of us are big fans of art, we didn’t rent a voice navigation system at that time. To be honest, we really regret it. There are too many exhibits there and they are too abstract. It's really not the same without voice navigation.

Although we don't have a voice introduction, it's still shocking just by watching it! I really like Raphael's "The School of Athens" and Michelangelo's "The Last Judgment". I often saw it in books when I was a child, and today I can finally see the original. It turns out it’s really amazing. However, what shocked and surprised us the most was definitely Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam" on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. We sat there and slowly appreciated this stunning masterpiece, it was really worth it!

The Vatican Museums are truly a must-see. Whether you are an art lover or an ordinary tourist, you will find fun here🤍

Tips:
1. Make an appointment in advance: There are really a lot of tourists, so it is recommended to book tickets online in advance to avoid long queues.
2. Guided tour service: Join a guided tour or rent an audio guide to gain a deeper understanding of the history and background of each exhibit.
3. Dress appropriately: Do not wear anything too revealing and respect the solemn venue.
