Vatican Museum, under the golden ceiling.

The most memorable part of my trip to the Vatican was undoubtedly the Vatican Museum. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a ceiling lavishly adorned in gold, with intricate murals extending into the dome-shaped walls. Each detail was so exquisite that I couldn’t help but keep my gaze upward. 🏛️ It felt as though the ceiling itself was a sacred scripture, and I found myself stopping to admire it for quite a while.

Honestly, though, it was incredibly crowded—probably because it’s such a famous spot. 😅 Being jostled around took a toll on my energy, but the awe-inspiring artworks before me made me forget all about the fatigue.

The scale and brilliance of the golden hues are something photos simply cannot capture. Seeing it in person made me think, "This is why it’s called one of the world’s greatest museums." Despite the overwhelming crowd, it’s undoubtedly a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. 🙏

📍 Address: Viale Vaticano, 00165 Roma RM, Italy (Vatican Museum)
