During my trip to Rome, I visited the Vatican Museums, which are often considered a must-see. Given their fame, I couldn’t skip them. The entrance was packed with people, and I thought, "Oh, today’s going to be tough," but once inside, the grandeur made all my fatigue disappear.
The Pio Clementino Museum, in particular, was stunning. It features white marble statues set against red walls, and they looked so majestic and impressive! Seeing ancient Roman sculptures up close, which I had only seen in photos before, made me wonder, "Did humans really create these by hand?" 🤭 Statues with scarves, goddesses holding spears—each one seemed so lifelike that I couldn’t help but stop and admire them.
Honestly, walking around all day made my legs sore and left me a bit tired, but taking breaks here and there to sit down and enjoy the sights at a slower pace made it manageable. Since the museum is so vast, you should plan to spend at least half a day there to avoid feeling rushed. If I visit again, I’d consider joining a guided tour to hear detailed explanations while exploring.
