[Vatican City🇻🇦] St. Peter's Square in the world's smallest independent state

[Vatican City🇻🇦] Introducing the heart of the world's smallest independent state.

St. Peter's Square
This oval square, 240 meters in diameter, stretches out in front of St. Peter's Basilica.

The colonnade is made up of four rows of columns and is topped with 140 statues of saints.

We highly recommend climbing up to the observation terrace of St. Peter's Basilica's cupola (dome), where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Vatican City!

Be sure to check it out from the observation deck! 🎵

📍Location: Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Città del Vaticano, Vatican City

🕰️Opening Hours: 24 hours

💰Price per person: Free entry to the square
*Separate entry fee for the cupola
