Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience at Anantara Veli

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Anantara Veli, and it was truly an exceptional experience from the outset. We were greeted by Faz, the resort manager, who was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The entire team at the resort ensured we felt comfortable and well cared for. We opted for the half board package, meaning breakfast and dinner were included each day. This allowed us to explore various restaurants without stressing over expenses. The food quality was impressive, and we eagerly anticipated each meal. A delightful surprise was our complimentary upgrade to the Deluxe Over Water Pool Villa, featuring direct ocean access and stunning views. It was ideal for a honeymoon and truly enhanced our stay. On our final night, we were both a bit under the weather. Noa, one of the supervisors, noticed and thoughtfully offered us lozenges for our sore throats. This small gesture reflected the staff's genuine care. If I were to suggest improvements, having bicycles for guests would be nice. The resort’s layout is quite expansive, and walking to and from the overwater villas can be time-consuming. Additionally, while the snack options were somewhat limited and pricey, it’s understandable given the island setting but worth mentioning. All in all, our honeymoon was wonderful, leaving us relaxed and thankful. The staff, the surroundings, and the atmosphere combined to make it a memorable trip.
