The Best Venetian Getaway: Belmond Hotel Cipriani

🏨 We recently visited the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, which boasts a prime location on the beautiful island of Giudecca in Venice. The hotel offers a complimentary private boat service that whisks you to St. Mark's Square in mere minutes—super convenient!

🚤 Not only is the location superb and the surrounding transportation incredibly convenient, but the hotel's luxurious boat, with its elegant leather interior, feels like a personal welcome every time it approaches the hotel. The hotel's decor exudes understated luxury and elegance.

🏡 Upon check-in, the reception staff was incredibly welcoming, and the check-in process was swift. The room designs are unique, each offering stunning views of either the lagoon or the gardens. Our room was well-equipped with a separate bathtub, hot shower, double sinks, a separate toilet, and a supremely comfortable king-size bed. Don't forget to request a room with a balcony! Overlooking the lagoon at sunset is an unforgettable Venetian experience.

🌺 The hotel's amenities are also top-notch, including a large saltwater swimming pool, tennis courts, and a high-end spa. Each restaurant has its own distinct character. We highly recommend the Italian cuisine at Oro Restaurant and the breathtaking views from Cip’s Club. We also enjoyed the full American breakfast, which was incredibly delicious and offered a wide variety of options.

📍 St. Mark's Square, near the hotel, is a must-see. It's the landmark of Venice, a political, religious, and festive center, and home to the world-famous Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Basilica. We fed pigeons in the square, sipped coffee, and soaked in the city's unique charm. There are also many unique shops and interesting street performers nearby.

🍝 The hotel also houses several boutiques, perfect for souvenir shopping or treating yourself. Overall, our stay was impeccable, from the service and amenities to the prime location. The only minor drawback was the slightly high price of drinks by the pool, but this was a small blemish on an otherwise perfect experience.
