Penguin Island Healing Travel Guide

How can you miss the magical little penguins of Phillip Island when you come to Melbourne! The penguins returning to their nests here is a world wonder. Every day at sunset, tens of thousands of 30 cm tall little penguins swim back to shore, absolutely adorable 🐧

📍Phillip Island (1019 Ventnor Rd)
Open all year round, 24/7. It is recommended to arrive around 4 PM to learn about penguins at the visitor center. Remember to wear a windbreaker, as the seaside wind is very strong!

TIPS:
1. No flash photography! It can harm the little penguins' eyes, and staff will strictly supervise.
2. The best viewing spots require advance booking, but the regular stands are also very good.
3. The little penguins are very shy, so please keep quiet.
4. Arriving one hour before sunset is ideal, and you can stroll along the island’s wetland trails.

The Summerland Beach on the island is truly a penguin paradise, home to over 30,000 magical little penguins. Watching them waddle back to their nests in a line will melt your heart~ After the show, it’s recommended to visit the souvenir shop at the visitor center, which has lots of cute penguin merchandise!
