๐ŸŒธ A day trip to Victoria, a fairytale garden and a European-style harbor

โ›ด๏ธ Day Trip to Victoria Island from Vancouver โ›ด๏ธ

I took a ferry from Vancouver for about an hour and a half to Victoria, a beautiful port city in Canada on Vancouver Island.
The ocean views from the ferry were so breathtaking that even the travel time felt like part of the trip. ๐ŸŒŠ

My first stop after arriving was the Inner Harbour. The quaint Parliament Building and the classic Fairmont Empress Hotel, nestled against the ocean, created a European-style atmosphere. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ I strolled around the harbour, stopping at cafes for a leisurely stroll. Buskers and performances along the streets added to the vibrant atmosphere. ๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŽ Don't miss the fish & chips at Redfish Bluefish!

โœ” Travel Tips
โ€ข Vancouver โ†’ Victoria takes about 3-4 hours by ferry and car, so leave early in the morning to enjoy the trip at your own pace.
โ€ข Just wander around the Inner Harbor and you'll enjoy historical architecture, ocean views, and cozy cafes all in one place.
โ€ข Weekends are crowded with tourists, so go on a weekday for a more peaceful experience.
โ€ข Day trips are possible, but comfortable shoes are essential since you'll be walking all day! ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ
โ€ข Compass cards can't be used on buses, so be sure to bring cash ($6) and purchase a Daypass!
