Come to Austria and experience medieval romance! Its churches, ancient castles, and lakes all hold countless stories, and every casual shot is a postcard-perfect scene🏰
✨Must-visit attractions recommended
📍Hallstatt
Known as the most beautiful town in the world, the Gothic church by the lake reflects on the water, creating a super dreamy scene! It's recommended to arrive before 8 AM to avoid the crowds. Don't miss taking a photo from the postcard-perfect spot next to the church📸
📍St. Wolfgang Parish Church (Pfarramt St. Wolfgang)
This white church looks like something out of a fairy tale! The square in front of the church often features street performers, and its Baroque interior decoration is incredibly magnificent. Climbing to the top offers panoramic views of Lake Wolfgang.
📍Melk Abbey (Stift Melk)
This magnificent Baroque complex, with its library housing 90,000 books and stunning dome frescoes, is breathtaking! The apricot jam with roasted meat at the abbey's restaurant is absolutely divine.
📍Salzburg Cathedral (Salzburger Dom)
A filming location for 'The Sound of Music,' Mozart was baptized here! Don't miss the organ concert every noon, and the Christmas market in the cathedral square is also super atmospheric.
🍽️Food recommendations
▪️Café Central, Vienna
A century-old establishment, even Freud came here for coffee! Must-try: Sacher Torte with Einspänner (Viennese coffee with whipped cream).
▪️Stieglkeller Restaurant, Salzburg
An old-established restaurant at the foot of Mönchsberg (Castle Hill). The crispy pork knuckle with dark beer is absolutely amazing! Terrace seating requires advance reservation.
🏨Amazing hotel recommendations
▫️Heritage Hotel Hallstatt
Open the window to a lake view! Each room has a different theme, and the vintage bathtub is perfect for photos.
▫️The Guesthouse Vienna
An artistic boutique hotel, just a 3-minute walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral.
💡Practical Tips
① Many churches in Austria require tickets, check opening hours in advance.
② October-November is the golden period for autumn foliage; the mountains and forests look like a spilled palette.
③ Buy an Austria Pass, usable for trains + attractions.
Traveling to Austria is like stepping into a medieval painting, with surprises awaiting you at every turn! I especially love sitting on the church steps at dusk, listening to the bells echo through the valley~
