St. Stephen’s Cathedral - Vienna

St. Stephen’s Cathedral, is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna, is a symbol of Vienna and most important Gothic building, it was completed in 1160. The Cathedral has south and north spires which is 68 and 136 meters respectively, the church also home the the Pummerin bell, which is Austria’s largest bell.

The church is open daily from 06:00 till 22:00, you could purchase the ticket with 30 mins guided tour to further understand the history of the church. You are also allowed to climb to the cathedral tower (south tower), while it is a tough climb, it’s worth it for the spectacular view!!
