A beautiful Buddhist temple still in operation and free to enter. The intricate details are amazing. However, it has become a little noisy due to new businesses coming into the temple area. I was able to sit on a bench and recharge my batteries. It is well worth the 1 hour visit.
A beautiful architectural wonder and a sight to behold. If you are interested in seeing more of the prehistoric Buddhist culture, I recommend Sri Lanka. There are Buddhist ruins there that are over 2500 years old...God bless you...
