Patouxay (Patouxay), also known as Patuxay in Thai, is a monument located in the heart of Vientiane. It was built to honor the heroes who fought for Lao independence from France.
🌻Patouxay is decorated with Lan Xang art, with delicate patterns and sculptures. The interior features mythical creatures from Buddhist and Hindu beliefs.
🌻The surrounding area is decorated with gardens and fountains. Nearby, there is Patouxay Park, a public park for relaxing.
