The main entrance to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, is Wattay International Airport. The international and domestic terminals are connected into one long, simple terminal. It is a small airport that takes about 2 minutes to walk from one end to the other at a brisk pace. The departure floor is even smaller, and there is no currency exchange, only a souvenir shop and a cafe. A distinctive feature is the wooden relief displayed in the center of the first floor. You can feel Laos. The wooden relief is very convenient, about 10 minutes from the bus stop near the Lao Plaza Hotel. By the way, the sandwich served on the Lao Airlines flight was cooked at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the bus road ☺ Wattana Airport is a small and close airport!!
