Adventure in the Wadi Rum Desert, Jordan

We switched to a four-wheel-drive vehicle and plunged into the rose-red desert known as the "Valley of the Moon." Towering, mysterious rock formations stood amidst the endless sea of sand, their wind-eroded surfaces telling stories of millions of years. But the real adventure began after sunset.

Following a Bedouin guide, we rode camels deep into the heart of the desert. In a traditional tent, we brewed tea over a wood fire and savored "Mansaf"—slow-cooked lamb prepared over charcoal. Under a night sky free from light pollution, the Milky Way appeared as a luminous river of sand. Gathered around a campfire, we listened to the Bedouins recount tales of constellations and desert legends. This was not about conquering nature but learning how to live like the children of the desert, finding rhythm and warmth in the vastness and solitude.
