⛩️Introduction to the shrine
The deity worshipped is Hikotsuse no Mikoto, the older brother of Emperor Jimmu, the first emperor of Japan.
During Jimmu's eastern expedition, Hikotsuse no Mikoto, who was with him, died after being injured in the Battle of Nagasunehiko and was buried here.
This is a place to reminisce about history 🙌
