My friend invited me to this Korean restaurant for dinner. Most of the ingredients used in the restaurant are imported from Korea. The pre-meal kimchi and pickled radish have a traditional Korean taste, which is very authentic. The restaurant's specialty is hot pots made with different parts of beef, such as brisket, tripe, hoof, and intestines.
Beef Brisket Hot Pot (M) $388
We ordered a medium-sized beef brisket hot pot to share between the two of us. It uses 1++ grade Korean beef, and the pot also contains onions, mushrooms, and other vegetables. The broth is very clear and sweet. The amount of beef is quite generous, covering the entire pot. The meat is tender and flavorful, and dipping it in the onion sauce makes it even more delicious.
Hangover Dumplings $68
The dumplings are pan-fried to a crispy perfection, and the filling is very rich. They have a bit of spiciness, making them very appetizing.
Hangover Dumpling and Rice Cake Soup $108
We also ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup. The broth includes ingredients like seaweed and egg strips. Besides the dumplings, the soup also contains chewy rice cakes.
Makgeolli Rice Wine $130
When eating Korean food, you must have some rice wine. We chose to drink makgeolli, which is sweet, rich, and slightly fizzy, making it easier to drink than soju.
