Along the way you will see Positano open-air seating and some specialty handicraft shops. You can start by going to the specialty cafe for Italian coffee and sniffing the aroma of freshly baked bread, then slowly walk to the boutique to view handmade ceramics and home decorations. It is recommended to reserve an hour to take pictures slowly and feel the leisurely life of the European town.

1. Restaurants on the main street: You can eat your fill first, then walk down to the beach to take pictures
2. Small Shop Garden (Lemon Theme): Very Italian coast garden feel, perfect for headshots or full-body mood shots.
3. Theme boutique: There are lots of Positano-style jewelry, household items, and it’s quite fun to buy some souvenirs.
4. Alfresco Cafe: It’s relaxing to sit with a glass of orange juice or coffee and look out at the town dappled with colors in the sun.

Tips & Notes

1. The best time to visit is 3-5 pm, plenty of sunshine, the best light, photography is not afraid of backlight.
2. Weekdays will be less crowded, you can slowly check in without queuing.
3. There is a small parking lot nearby, but be sure not to park near the beach as it must be crowded
4. Some stairs are more steep, wear comfortable shoes for easy walking.
