Just returned from Wanning, and the off-season scenery is illegally beautiful! Fewer tourists, breathtaking views, and affordable prices – every shot is postcard-worthy, perfect for those wanting to escape the crowds.

✈️ Transportation: No airport in Wanning. Flying to Haikou is cheaper than Sanya, then take a [bullet train] to Wanning's [Shenzhou Station]
☁️ Weather: Don’t trust Wanning’s weather forecast—it always shows rain but is actually sunny. Bring an umbrella for both sun and rain protection.

🌊 Must-visit three bays:
📍 Shimei Bay
Hainan’s most beautiful bay lives up to its name—a 6km crescent-shaped beach that’s super clean.
Snorkeling at Jiajing Island reveals tons of tropical fish.
The pink beach bar is super photogenic—don’t miss it!
Recommended restaurant: Longfu Seafood Restaurant (affordable and generous portions).

📍 Riyue Bay
A paradise for surfers, with moderate waves perfect for beginners.
The coconut tree-lined coastal road gives off major Hawaii vibes.
At night, it transforms into a beachy bar street with great atmosphere.
Must-eat: TEMPO Ocean View Bistro (popular spot—reservations needed).

📍 Shenzhou Peninsula
The seaside lighthouse is a must-visit! Red-and-white stripes make it ultra-photogenic.
At sunset, you might catch stunning "fire clouds."
Corona Beach Bar’s sunset bubble party is super romantic.
Recommended stay: Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort (private beach is unreal).

1. Best light is 9-11am—pack light-colored dresses.
2. For surfing, choose 7-9am: fewer people, good waves, and no sunburn.
3. Check tide times for lighthouse photos to avoid wasted trips.

1. Must-try surfing! Beginners should opt for 1v3 lessons.
2. Rent an e-bike for super convenient island exploration.
3. Haggle when chartering a boat for snorkeling (we got ours for ¥450).
