National Museum of Natural History

Visiting the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC was both historically interesting and educationally fun. I came on a rainy day, which made it the perfect indoor activity.

The museum has several floors with a wide variety of exhibition halls, so everyone can find something that fits their interests from fossils and gems to animals and human history. I walked through most of the halls and really enjoyed the high-quality displays and the amount of information available.

One thing to note is that the museum can get very crowded, especially around the most popular exhibits, so it’s sometimes difficult to get a close look. Despite that, it’s absolutely worth visiting.

Another big plus is that, like all Smithsonian museums, entry is completely free. If you’re in DC, I highly recommend spending a few hours here to explore and learn.
