Weifang is the home of kites and the intricate craft of designing and production. Therefore it is no surprise that it is also the home of the World Kite Museum. Once inside, you can be dazzled by the amazing array of different kites, not just locally produced, but also from other parts of the world. Discover the history of design and how to make them, and to the people who fly kites as a hobby. Learn about the kite festival, held each year here too! There are two floors to this museum and also a kite-making workshop for children to make their own. You can also buy kites here too as souvenirs, a great way to remember your time here. They can package and deliver the kites to anywhere in China. Get here by private car, taxi or bus. Around 10 minutes from the train station.
