【🗺 Complete itinerary guide】
1⃣ 🚗 Transportation
Self-driving: Navigate to "Wenchuan Wolong Town Zhuanjinglou Village" or "Xueyuan Hotel". Park and transfer to a local shuttle. Those with good stamina can hike up the mountain.
Bus: Depart from a Chengdu subway station. Direct bus + guide, suitable for those who prefer a relaxed approach.
2⃣ ⛰ Hiking routes
🏌A Route (Easy version):
Altitude: approx. 2700m, round trip approx. 5km, elevation gain 400m. After getting off the shuttle, walk along the main road for approx. 200m, then follow the stone steps upwards for approx. 1km to reach the first meadow swing. You can rest here, take photos, and continue upwards for 1.5km to reach the second swing. Here, the view is wide open, with meadows and sea of clouds intermingled, blue sky, mountains, green trees, yaks, and sheep—a super photogenic spot. You can have a picnic and relax on the grass.
🦄B Route (Advanced version):
For those with sufficient stamina and hiking experience, choose Route B. Altitude: approx. 3000m, round trip approx. 10km, elevation gain 800m. After reaching the second swing, continue climbing upwards, through a shrub forest, and along the ridge to the summit of Yunzhong Ridge. The ridge is quite steep and slippery when wet, so it is not recommended to climb to the summit on rainy days.

✔️ Clothing formula = quick-drying clothes + sun protection clothing + windbreaker (the wind at the summit is strong!)
✔️ Essential three items: hiking poles + non-slip shoes + large-capacity water bottle
✔️ Recommended road snacks: rice balls / beef jerky / chocolate (barbecue stalls along the way are expensive and not tasty)
❌ Don't: pick wildflowers / tease yaks and sheep / litter

💡 Local tips
1⃣️ Choose an open-top shuttle! The view of the sea of clouds on the mountain road is amazing.
2⃣️ After descending the mountain, go to Wolong Town and eat "highland potato stew with cured ribs", approx. CNY 30 per person.
3⃣️ If you encounter heavy fog, definitely give up Route B. The swing on Route A is already worth the trip.
