Our Great Place in Xinjiang: Aksu - Tomur Grand Canyon

When traveling to Xinjiang, the Tianshan Tomur Grand Canyon is definitely a must-visit!

🏜️The moment you enter the canyon, you’ll be amazed! Those reddish-brown cliffs are stunningly beautiful!✨
The layers of towering peaks make you instantly lost in the scenery. This vibrant red color almost makes you think you’re looking at a plus version of the Forbidden City’s red walls—but these walls are much taller here!🤩

📸Every snap is a masterpiece!
Some cliffs look exactly like ancient city walls made of clay, with clear rammed earth marks;
Others resemble skyscrapers rising from the ground, complete with Chinese-style flying eaves;
The most breathtaking is a mountain that is a perfect replica of the Potala Palace in Tibet—if it had a golden roof, it would be indistinguishable from the real thing!
There are also cliffs full of caves, like ancient cliff carvings carefully sculpted by ancestors, giving off a mysterious vibe max~🎭

🌍Geological wonder time!
These beautiful landscapes didn’t form overnight—about 26 million years ago, this area was part of the ancient Mediterranean Sea!🌊 Later, due to plate tectonics and the uplift of the Tianshan Mountains, combined with the magic of wind and water erosion, the current spectacular landforms were created. Nature’s sculptor is truly legendary!💯
