Let's go to Poring Hot Springs on Mount Kinabalu for this trip!!✈️

🛄ㅣPoring Hot Springs♨️

Mount Kinabalu, located in Sabah, Malaysia, is one of the highest and most majestic mountains in Southeast Asia, a place of both natural beauty and mystery. During my trip to this magnificent mountain, I was deeply moved by more than just the scenery; I also visited Poring Hot Springs and the nearby village.👍

Poring Hot Springs, located about a 40-minute drive from Kinabalu National Park, is a natural sulfur hot spring with a long history, developed by the Japanese during the Japanese colonial period. The warm water here comes from underground and is known to be beneficial for fatigue recovery and skin health.

I soaked in the outdoor bath, nestled in the tranquil forest, and slowly soaked in the warmth of the hot springs, allowing me to wrap up my day's journey. The surrounding lush trees, the chirping of birds, and the gentle breeze combined to create a sense of tranquility, as if I were being embraced by nature. The hot spring water wasn't too hot, but gently enveloped my body, and I felt all the fatigue from my trip melt away!

After soaking, I explored the nearby village. Although small, it was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The market displayed fresh, locally grown tropical fruits and handmade crafts, and the locals welcomed me warmly and kindly. With few tourists, the tranquil atmosphere allowed me to slowly and leisurely enjoy the time I'd spent there for the first time in a long while. ✌️

This trip was a truly special experience, combining the majestic nature of Mount Kinabalu, the warmth of Poring Hot Springs, and the pure lives of the villagers. For me, physically and mentally exhausted, this place provided a brief but profound solace, giving me the strength to return to my daily routine.

If I ever return to Malaysia, I'd love to visit here again and relive those warm moments~🫠
