🚙Embarking on a two-day journey with your friends through Chuanxi (Western Sichuan) offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural richness.

Day 1: Chengdu to Kangding

Morning:

Departure from Chengdu: Begin your day early by taking a bus or hiring a private car from Chengdu to Kangding, approximately a 6-7 hour drive.

Note: *We left at 10am and reached just before the sunset.
**We rented a car from chengdu to make our stops more accessible.

Scenic Stops: En route, pause at the snowy platueu , and take in the sunset.

Nestled amidst mountains, Kangding is known for its vibrant Tibetan culture.

Day 2: To Tagong and Return to Chengdu

Morning to Afternoon:

Travel to Tagong: Depart for Tagong, a town approximately 2-3 hours from Kangding, famous for its vast grasslands

Tagong Grasslands: Explore the expansive grasslands, offering panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and opportunities to experience nomadic Tibetan life.

Evening:

Return to Chengdu: Begin your journey back to Chengdu, which may take around 7-8 hours.

Tips:
🗻Altitude Awareness: Both Kangding and Tagong are at high elevations. Ensure you acclimate properly and stay hydrated to prevent altitude sickness.
