Enjoy the beautiful sea of mist and experience the cold weather at Phu Chi Deuan.

⛰ Phu Chi Deuan is another beautiful 360-degree sea of mist viewpoint in Chiang Rai. It is located near Doi Pha Tang, Phu Chi Fa, and Phu Chi Dao, standing at 1,742 meters high. It is the highest viewpoint, allowing you to see the peaks of Phu Chi Fa, Phu Chi Dao, and Pha Tang.

🚘 To reach the viewpoint, there are community-operated four-wheel-drive vehicles available. The service fee is 100 Baht per person. If you hire the whole vehicle, it costs 500 Baht and can accommodate up to 5 people.

👨👩👧👦 If there are more than 5 people, the fee is still 100 Baht per person, with a maximum of 10 people per vehicle. If there are 10 people, the total cost is 1,000 Baht.

🔝 The road up is a dirt road, steep and narrow, making it difficult for vehicles to pass each other. Drivers need to honk to warn oncoming vehicles throughout the 2.8-kilometer journey, which takes about 20 minutes to reach the parking area at the foot of the mountain.

📸 From the parking area, you walk up to the first viewpoint. From there, it's another 100 meters uphill to the summit, which is a flat area where you can comfortably take photos.

🌄 At Phu Chi Deuan, besides watching the sunrise and sunset and enjoying the 360-degree mountain views, you can also clearly see the winding Mekong River on the Laos side.
