Yunshan National Forest Park Travel Guide

High-speed rail: Take the high-speed rail to Shaoyang High-speed Railway Station or Dongkou County High-speed Railway Station, then take a bus to Wugang City, and then take a bus or taxi in the urban area directly to Yunshan Banshan Scenic Area.
Self-driving: Starting from Changsha, passing through Loudi and Shaoyang, and passing Changshaolou Expressway, Erguang Expressway, Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, and Dongxin Expressway, you will reach the scenic spot.

⚠️The west gate of Yunshan Scenic Area is the entrance for climbing. The Wugang Yunshan Visitor Center is located here, and the self-driving camping base is also nearby.
Go to the west gate and navigate to "Wugang Yunshan Forest Park". It takes more than 3 hours to climb from the bottom of the mountain to the "Sister Pavilion" on the top of the mountain. If you are slow, please prepare 5 hours. If you want to go to the highest peak of Yunshan, Zixiao Peak, you need to prepare more than 1 hour.
The East Gate of Wugang Yunshan Scenic Area is the entrance for self-driving camping, and the ticket collection place is halfway up the mountain. It takes at least 40 minutes to get from the bottom of the mountain to the top.
The east and west gates are quite far apart, so it is recommended to only go to one.
