Chasing Sakura at Wuhan, China

It refers to the scenic view of the Wuhan Metro Line 2, particularly near the Luojia Hill Station (珞珈山站) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where cherry blossoms bloom around the elevated railway tracks.

During peak cherry blossom season, usually in mid-to-late March, the sight of the monorail passing through tunnels of pink and white cherry blossoms creates a picturesque scene, making it one of the most beautiful urban cherry blossom viewing spots in China.

Many visitors take photos or videos of the train moving through the flowers, and it’s often compared to the cherry blossom train in Japan’s Nara or the Jinhae cherry blossom festival in South Korea. The nearby Wuhan University is also a top destination for cherry blossom viewing.
