Mount Mo 🌿🏯

We were there on a bright summer morning, climbing Mo Hill along the East Lake’s gentle shore, where six rolling peaks rise like echoes of ancient millstones . We rode the cable car above blooming rhododendrons and cherry blossoms, the breeze carrying the faint scent of petals. Standing atop Chu Heaven Platform, we looked out over the vast lake, the scene punctuated by the towering Chu City gate and Chutian Tower below a living echo of the Chu Kingdom’s grandeur. It felt as though history itself was breathing around us. 🚡🌺🌊

By afternoon, we wandered through the Botanical Viewing Garden where lotus, plum, and cherry trees formed a quiet festival of green and pink . We paused at the Plum Garden, noted as one of China’s finest, and listened to cicadas hum around us. Later, we tried the thrilling slide ride down the hillside and watched families glide through the cherry blossom grove. Here on Mo Hill, summer isn’t just a season it’s an invitation to reconnect with nature, culture, and the slow turn of ancient tales amidst petals and peaks. 🎢🌸🛶
