My first stop in Wuhan was Hankou Railway Station, which is practically a "Little Shanghai" with European-style architecture that makes every photo feel super artistic~ The Nanjin Garden S Hotel I stayed at offers incredible value for money, and it's right next to the subway station, making getting around super convenient!
🏨Hotel Highlights:
📍Excellent Location: 10-minute walk from Hankou Railway Station, direct access from Yunfei Road Station on Line 2
💰Amazing Price: 200+/night in Wuhan's city center is an absolute steal
🛏️Comfortable Rooms: Skin-friendly bedding, branded toiletries
🚇Convenient Transportation: Direct subway access to major attractions like Yellow Crane Tower and Jianghan Road
🌟3-Day 2-Night Citywalk Itinerary:
Day 1: Hankou Artsy Stroll
Morning: Gude Temple (stunning blend of Chinese and Western architecture) → Lihuangpi Road (Wuhan's "Wukang Road")
Afternoon: Wuhan Art Museum (check out the popular balloon wall) → Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street (shop and eat)
Evening: Baocheng Road Night Market (Wuhan's largest night market) → Back to hotel
Day 2: Classic Attractions Check-in
Morning: Yellow Crane Tower (recommend buying Yellow Crane Tower ice cream for photos) → Hubu Alley (a bit commercialized, but worth a visit since you're here)
Afternoon: Tanualin (a hub of artsy shops) → Watch the sunset at Yangtze River Bridge
Evening: Zhiyin Hao immersive performance (advance booking required)
Day 3: Relaxing Half-Day Tour
Morning: Lingbo Gate of Wuhan University (famous "jumping into East Lake" spot)
Afternoon: East Lake Greenway cycling (just grab a shared bike and explore)
🍜Must-Try Foods:
1. Hot Dry Noodles: Recommend "Cai Lin Ji" (many branches, hard to go wrong)
2. Doupi: Sanxian Doupi is the standard breakfast for Wuhan locals
3. Duck Neck: Zhou Hei Ya and Jingwu Duck Neck each have their unique flavors
4. Lotus Root Soup: A bowl of Pork Ribs and Lotus Root Soup in winter is both warming and comforting
📌Practical Tips:
- Wuhan Metro is super convenient, recommend getting a "Wuhan Tong" card
- December to February is relatively damp and cold, remember to bring moisturizing skincare products
- You don't need to climb to the top of Yellow Crane Tower; taking photos from outside is already beautiful
- For the Zhiyin Hao performance, remember to arrive at the pier 1 hour in advance to change and take photos
Staying near Hankou Railway Station is truly amazing, it's convenient for getting anywhere, and the Nanjin Garden S Hotel was definitely a bonus for my Wuhan trip~ I'll stay here again next time!
