Guangji Temple, "Little Jiuhua"

Guangji Temple is located at the southwestern foot of Zheshan Mountain in Wuhu City, Anhui Province.
Guangji Temple was first built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Tang Dynasty (894-898).
In the old days, anyone who went to Mount Jiuhua had to first ask for the "Golden Seal of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva" here before going to Mount Jiuhua. Therefore, it is also known as "Little Jiuhua". It is a holy place for Buddhist pilgrimage and has always been very popular.
Guangji Temple, Puji Temple, Nengren Temple and Jixiang Temple are known as the four famous temples in Anhui, with Guangji Temple being the most famous.
In 1983, the temple was designated as a national key temple of Chinese Buddhism by the State Council.
