I didn’t use the public transportation. It’s a small village, so I mostly walked or took the taxi.

Places visited:
1.憨山 Hanshan (Price: 24 Yuan Student)
Brief Introduction:
Hánshān (憨山), located in the city of Xīnzhōu is known for its historical significance. The site features a museum that delves into the early history of the People’s Republic of China, highlighting key moments from the revolutionary era. There is also a tower. From one site of the tower you can see the whole city/village and on the other site you can the mountain. Please arrive before 5pm since the tower closes at this time.

2.Market on the street: Fu Min Jie (富民街）
This is a market on the way to Hanshan mountain. The market is more than a Kilometer long with different fruits shops.

3.五台山 Wutaishan (Price: 70 Yuan student)
Brief Introduction:
Wǔtái Shān (五台山)is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Revered as the home of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, the mountain is a significant pilgrimage destination for Buddhists from around the world. It contains five flat peaks and ancient temples.

How to get there:
Description:
At the Wǔtái Shān Train station(五台山), there are several bus companies which takes you to the actual mountain. You need to be there early. The busses drives from 04:30am-12:30am in the morning and the last bus depart at 05:30 pm back to the Wǔtái Shān (五台山) bus station.

Price: 25 Yuan per Ride

Dicos Green, 德克士素食餐厅 (Price:50 Yuan Menu)

This is a full vegan restaurant on the 五台山 mountain. However, it was very tasty, even though I am not vegan hyper.
