Huishan Ancient Town – Scenic & Historic

We visited during a public holiday and enjoyed exploring this charming ancient town, though the crowds were intense!

Highlights
✅ Affordable entrance – Just ¥10 to enter the park area with plenty to see.
✅ Breathtaking cable car ride (¥60/adult, ¥30/child, free under 3) – The views from above were stunning!
✅ Traditional lunch & snacks – Delicious local food options in the town and near the cable car.
✅ QR code ticketing– Easy online booking (super convenient!).
✅ Free hiking trails, boat trips – Great alternative if you skip the cable car.

Drawbacks:
⚠️ Long wait times – 2+hours to board the cable car (both up and down).
⚠️ Very crowded – Holiday visits mean packed walkways and queues.

A beautiful mix of history and nature, but the holiday crowds tested our patience. Worth it for the views—just plan ahead!
