Same breathtakingly beautiful romance as the Spring Festival Gala! Wuxi Huishan Ancient Town is absolutely stunning. As the 2025 Spring Festival Gala sub-venue, its Chinese aesthetics have gone viral on trending searches. The Huishan Ancient Town scenic area is quite large. I was a bit confused when preparing to go, so I did some research and am sharing it with friends here.
🚇 Transportation Guide
Take Metro Line 4 to "Huishan Ancient Town Station," Exit 6, then a 5-minute walk straight ahead!
The same filming spot as the Spring Festival Gala is at Longtou River, near the river pond.

You can always trust CCTV’s aesthetic sense. As a Spring Festival sub-venue, the decorations here are truly beautiful! Red and yellow lanterns hang from the trees, and there are fish lanterns on the river (not yet lit). It’s definitely worth waiting until evening; the lights come on around 5 PM and it’s really beautiful. The area isn’t very big, so you can walk around the river without missing any beautiful scenery. It’s truly gorgeous.
