$30 in 🇨🇳 Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, China

#asiabudgetchallenge
Wuyuan is often called the “most beautiful countryside in China” — and once you arrive, you’ll understand why. I visited during spring, and the landscape was like a painting: rolling green hills, misty rivers, and endless fields of bright yellow rapeseed flowers blooming across traditional white-walled villages. It was peaceful, slow, and incredibly photogenic. I explored centuries-old towns like Likeng and Xiaoqi, wandered ancient stone lanes, crossed arched bridges, and enjoyed fresh farm-to-table meals at small homestays. The locals were so welcoming, and everything just felt… untouched and calm.

📍Destination: Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, China
💸Rough Budget: ¥200–¥350/day (~$30) including entrance to scenic villages, guesthouse, meals
💡Top Tip: Visit in late March to early April for the rapeseed flower bloom — bring a camera and get ready for postcard-perfect views!
