Aofeng Park, located in the eastern part of Taijiang District, borders the northern bank of the Minjiang River. In 1997 , Aofeng Park introduced foreign investment and became a comprehensive park focusing on crocodile breeding, viewing, entertainment and leisure.
By introducing rare crocodile breeding and viewing projects, the park has been renovated and adjusted to form four major scenic areas, namely the science and culture area ; the children's play area; the reptile viewing area; and the crocodile performance area.
The park planning makes full use of the existing situation and terrain conditions, reflecting the twists and turns, uniform density, and scenery in front of the eyes, integrating viewing, appreciation, sports, entertainment, leisure and other functions.

The park is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. The best times to visit are early mornings and late afternoons, when the weather is cooler and the park is less crowded.
Entrance to Aofeng Park is free. However, some specific attractions within the park may require a small fee. Tickets can be purchased onsite if needed.
No booking is required in advance for general access to the park. However, if you're visiting during peak seasons or holidays, it’s recommended to arrive early to avoid the crowds.

The best viewpoints are from the summit of the park, where you can see the entire city of Fuzhou and the surrounding nature. The pavilions and temples are also excellent for architectural photography.
Start your visit at the main entrance, explore the gardens, and then hike towards the summit. Afterward, visit the temples and pavilions before finishing with a relaxing stroll around the lake area.
Night visits are not available, and there are no light shows in Aofeng Park. The park is best enjoyed during daylight hours.
The park can get crowded on weekends and holidays. The least crowded times are weekdays, especially in the mornings.
Toilets are available throughout the park. However, there are no major food or beverage vendors inside, so it’s advisable to bring your own water or snacks. Rest areas are scattered across the park for visitors to relax.
Aofeng Park has some uneven terrain, but most areas are accessible to visitors with basic mobility. However, those with disabilities may find certain areas, like the summit, difficult to access due to stairs.
