Xi'an Muslim Quarter and Night View of the City Wall

Xi'an Muslim Quarter (Muslim Market)
In the evening, we headed straight to the largest Muslim market in Xi'an, located behind the Drum Tower. This is a paradise for meat lovers, with everything except pork (Muslims do not eat pork).

It's recommended to visit in the evening to enjoy delicious food. The atmosphere on this street becomes lively and colorful, with both sides lined with various halal street food options.

Must-try dishes:
* Rou Jia Mo (Chinese Hamburger): The bread is baked in a clay oven to enhance its aroma, then lightly browned and stuffed with stewed meat. The bread is chewy and pairs perfectly with the filling.
* Stinky Tofu with toppings: Surprisingly delicious despite its appearance, and the smell is not as strong as the Taiwanese version.
* Grilled Lamb Ribs: Perfectly cooked with crispy skin, tender meat, and fragrant spices, with minimal gamey smell.
* Grilled Squid sprinkled with sesame: This dish is the highlight, offering a rich flavor with a hint of mala spice, but without the numbing sensation.
