🕊️ Giant Wild Goose Pagoda — Xi’an’s Tang Dynasty Icon

Rising gracefully in the ancient city of Xi’an, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔) has stood for over 1,300 years as a symbol of Buddhist devotion and Tang Dynasty elegance. Built in 652 AD, it was originally constructed to house Buddhist scriptures and relics brought back from India by the monk Xuanzang after his legendary Silk Road journey.

The seven-story brick pagoda offers panoramic views of Xi’an from the top, while the surrounding Da Ci’en Temple complex provides a peaceful escape from the city bustle.
