✔️💳 Scenic Area Ticket: 65 RMB per person on the platform, you can find group purchase tickets for a slightly lower price;
✔️🚈 Transportation: Depart at 8:00 AM, take the subway to Changninggong Station on Line 2, then take a taxi to the entrance of Cuihua Mountain Scenic Area, taxi fare is about 30-40 RMB;
✔️🏞 Enter the scenic area and take the sightseeing bus to Tianchi (Heavenly Pool), about 6 kilometers, 20 RMB per person (it’s recommended to take the bus, walking 6 kilometers would be very tiring)
✔️🏕 Tianchi has beautiful scenery, great for photos and camping... (private cars can also drive directly to Tianchi)
✔️⛰️ Climb Cuihua Peak, the trail starts near the entrance of Tianchi, with small stalls nearby selling instant noodles, fruits, etc.;
✔️🍟 You can have lunch before climbing, recommended instant noodles with tomatoes, and bring some snacks for energy on the mountain. Two bottles of water per person are enough.
✔️🏃 The climb involves 1,088 steps to the summit, relatively steep and straight up, with few resting spots along the way. You can rest while walking, and it takes about an hour and a half to reach the top.
✔️🪂️ For descending, there is a slide you can take down, 30 RMB per person. Each person wears a pair of camouflage shorts with a thin cushion on the seat, then slides down like a big slide. The slide ends halfway down the mountain.
✔️🪁️ There is a relatively gentle path to Tianchi. Worth mentioning are the Wind Cave and Ice Cave, which are just large rocks but very cool inside, around 15°C. After getting hot from climbing in summer, going inside feels really refreshing and comfortable.
✔️🌸 On the way down, there is also a Tian Cave, which charges a separate ticket, but some group tickets include it, making it very cost-effective. The entrance has some fake flowers that look nice for photos, and there is a small stream on the steps. If you wear sports shoes, you can pass quickly; otherwise, your shoes might get wet. Inside are some lights, quite ordinary.
✔️🏄 After that, descend to Tianchi, where you can also rent small boats for 88 RMB per person with no time limit.
✔️🏡 There is also a temple next to Tianchi. We didn’t visit it because we were eager to climb, but it’s quite high and located opposite Cuihua Peak.
✔️🛺️ After Tianchi, you can descend the mountain and still take the sightseeing bus. Return the same way you came~
✔️🧚♀️ Climbing Cuihua Mountain in one day is not tiring; it’s a relatively easy mountain suitable for a one-day trip, at a relaxed pace. Wish everyone a happy trip! 😜
