Daxingshan Temple is the largest cat café in Xi'an

Daxingshan Temple, a Buddhist temple founded in the early Jin dynasty with a history of over 1,600 years, is one of the oldest surviving temples in Xi'an and a popular tourist attraction. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, it was one of the three major translation centers for Buddhist scriptures in Chang'an, where monks from India came to translate sutras, giving it a profound cultural heritage. The temple is surrounded by ancient cypress trees, with a serene and solemn environment. Most of the existing buildings were constructed during the Ming dynasty, preserving the site of the Tang dynasty's revolving sutra library hall, which is about 1 meter above ground and roughly square in shape. The rear hall also houses bronze Buddha statues from the Tang dynasty and sculptures from the Song dynasty, each with unique forms and great historical value.
