Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture｜Labrang Monastery "Circumambulation"

Labrang Monastery, located in Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, is a top destination and one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is the political and religious center of the Tibetan area in Gansu. The architecture features intertwined Tibetan red, bright yellow, and pure white colors, with Buddhist academy apprentices everywhere on the roads and devout believers gathered in front of the prayer wheels.
