Yushan Island | Ningbo's Hidden Gem: A 3-Day, 2-Night Island Guide

| Ningbo's Hidden Gem: A 3-Day, 2-Night Island Guide.🌊Yushan Island | Ningbo's Hidden Gem: A 3-Day, 2-Night Island Guide||It is said that Yushan Island will be expropriated in October and will no longer be accessible
So I booked the ferry and homestay with my family and came directly
Although half of the 4-hour fishing boat ride was spent being seasick
The beautiful scenery made it all worthwhile
The island's transportation is inconvenient and the homestay conditions are average
But the pristine fishing village is really perfect for a vacation🌠
You can camp and fish, chase the blue tears🌊
It's not overly commercialized, has few people, and offers great comfort
You won't be able to visit the island after October, so hurry if you want to go!

📑I've organized a 3-day, 2-night guide👇🏻for your reference:
🚢【Transportation】
Drive to the Shipu Land Island Passenger Transport Center and take a boat to the island
Ferry ticket price: Call in advance to book, round trip 440/person
Single trip takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
(PS: Because there was a drill on the day we went, all passenger ships were suspended, and the homestay owner booked us a fishing boat, so it took 4 hours)

🏠【Accommodation】
✅Option One: Homestay
The accommodation conditions on the island are relatively average, with an average price of around 400. We stayed at the Xiangfeng Inn, where the owner was super nice. He provided electric tricycle transfers to and from the pier and could also help book ferry tickets.
✅Option Two: Camping
There are a few fixed camping spots, no site fees required, you need to bring your own tent or rent locally, and it might be a bit noisy at night, suitable for those with camping experience who want to chase the sunrise.

🥘【Dining】
✅Option One: Homestay Communal Dining
Eat communal meals at the homestay, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with lunch and dinner mostly consisting of freshly caught seafood (see picture 12), served at a table for 10, with a great variety of dishes including seafood and home-cooked meals. Of course, if you don't eat seafood, you can bring some food just in case.
✅Option Two: Island Snack Shops
There are few snack shops on the island, about two or three, mainly serving rice cakes and noodles. I tried a snow cream, and it tasted pretty good.

🏊‍♀️【Recommended Island Activities】
▪️Island Walk (Recommended: Xianren Bridge, Lighthouse, Camping Spots)
▪️Fishing (You can fish from the shore or choose to go out to sea)
▪️Sunrise and Sunset (Sunrise around 4 am, sunset around 6:30 pm)
▪️Night View and Stargazing, Chasing Blue Tears (Near Xianren Bridge)
▪️Swimming (Bring a swim ring for a super cool dip, watch out for seaweed around your feet)

🎒【Essentials】
ID card, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, seasickness medicine, etc.
