Tiger Leaping Gorge

Tiger Leaping Gorge is a national AAA-level scenic spot located above the Yangtze River in Yunnan Province. It lies between the junction of Lijiang and Zhongdian cities. Currently, there are four tiger statues in the area. This gorge is truly a stunning tourist destination. There is an escalator service available for a fee, or visitors can opt to walk down the stairs, though they are quite steep. There are approximately three spots along the way where you can stop to take beautiful photos. At the bottom of Tiger Leaping Gorge, there is a long bridge running alongside the river. As you walk along, you'll encounter the Bell Tunnel and the landmark of the gorge—the tiger statue—where many people queue up to take pictures. At the top, there is a parking lot, clean restrooms, and souvenir shops.
