🚩From Chengdu, take a bus from Chadianzi Bus Station. Vans fill up quickly during the trip. It's recommended to book in advance if you don't want to wait long for the bus. The journey from Chengdu takes 4 hours. It's easy to get motion sickness up the mountain, but the view is beautiful. If you get motion sickness, be sure to take some medication.
🚩The entrance fee is 90 yuan, which includes transportation within the park. The bus will take you to the starting point, a 10-minute ride. The starting point is a Tibetan monastery. There's a wooden walkway that's rated as 7 kilometers long, with a round trip of 22 kilometers.
🔎Preparation: The wooden walkway requires some fitness. We didn't experience any altitude sickness during our trip, likely due to a good night's sleep and regular exercise.
🔎 This route is 22 kilometers round trip. Horses are available for rent, but they're expensive if you can't walk.

It was only a 4.5-kilometer walk, 9 kilometers round trip, because we had a shuttle back to Dujiangyan. We walked a short distance past Withered Tree River Beach. The view was absolutely stunning. 10,000/100. The weather was great, and the walk was beautiful. It was worth it. It's a shame I didn't finish it.

Overall, if you enjoy hiking, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely come back and finish the walk if I have time again.
